    It was my first time parasailing, but they explained the equipment beforehand and even showed me how to use the GoPro they lent me. It was really great to chat with the other people on the boat and wave to each other—it created a real sense of togetherness. It’s an activity that lets you fully enjoy the ocean around Miyako Island, so I highly recommend it! Once we were up in the air, there wasn’t much swaying at all, so I felt completely at ease!

    There were some waves due to the west wind, but the water was clear and I had a great time. I swam near the drop-off, but I wish I could have swum a bit more over the coral. I understand the need to be careful not to damage anything, given the variety of participants. If possible, I’d appreciate it if you could divide us into groups based on our snorkeling experience. It was hard to swim comfortably when there were people who weren’t very confident swimmers. Also, I don’t think snorkeling at White Sand is necessary. Since we were going by boat, I would have preferred three spots focused on the Yaese San’ya fish—which can only be seen here. I was very satisfied overall, but I just wanted to share my honest feedback.

    While many tour operators have age restrictions that prevent people from participating in snorkeling and Blue Grotto tours, I was able to join even though I’m in my mid-60s. The staff were kind and helpful, and best of all, the boat ride was short because the destination was so close. I’d definitely like to join again if I get the chance!
