On Miyakojima Island, beautiful starry skies can be observed due to the lack of light pollution. How about gazing at the stars with your loved one in a natural planetarium-like space?

Summer from April to the end of OctoberIt is a rare spot where one can observe the "Milky Way," the constellation Orion in winter from November to the end of March, and the Southern Cross, one of the most famous stars in Japan!

Professional stargazing photographerThe tour guide will use his/her knowledge and experience to guide you to the best time and place, taking into account the weather and sky conditions on the day of the tour.

Using a single-lens reflex camera specially designed for starry skies, which is highly sensitive and produces beautiful results even in the darkest of nights, we provide stress-free support so that even those who are not accustomed to posing will not make any mistakes.

We will take a picture with a star-filled sky in the clear air.

You are exhausted after a full day of sightseeing and activities, but you still want to see the stars! This tour is recommended for those who want to see the starry night sky.

Reservations can be made on the same day. We will take several photos and send you the shooting data later by e-mail or on line. You can participate in this service without spending time and trouble during your precious stay in Miyakojima.

Q. Is there parking available at the meeting place?

Depending on the shooting location, there is a basic rule of thumb!
We will inform you in advance so you can come with your rental car.

Q. Do you provide transportation from hotels and airports?

Sorry, we do not support this service.
If transportation is not an option, please take a cab.

Q. How do I pay?

Cash only.
Please note that we do not accept credit cards or coupons for reservations made with on-site payment on the day of the event.

Q. I have a physical disability.

No problem! For example, if you are a hearing impaired customer, we will respond to you in writing!

Q. Is there any recommended attire?

Resort-style clothing is recommended.

Q. Is it absolutely impossible to shoot on a full moon day?

If you insist on having your photo taken, we will accept your request, but please understand that we will not be able to take photos of the starry sky as you might expect. Therefore, we are basically closed.

Q. What happens during rain and typhoons?

Cancellation.

I went to Miyako Island for the first time to participate in the annual starry sky photo shoot. I was worried about the windy weather from the day before to the morning of the day of the photo shoot, but by the time the photo was taken, the sky was full of stars!
