Miyako Island Starry Sky Observation Tour with Guide CommentaryThis is a tour of a natural planetarium that tells about the seasonal constellations in the beautiful night sky of Miyako Island, how to find celestial objects, and myths related to the constellations.
Listen to the sound of waves and insects, feel the wind and tide, and enjoy the 360-degree starry sky while becoming one with nature with your whole body.
Experienced guides will guide you!
Starry sky guide with teaching licensewill use an app and a laser pointer to teach you about the stars, the stories behind the constellations, and many other things about the universe.
A laser pointer is used to point to the location of the stars, so anyone can find the constellations!
Use an astronomical telescope to observe!
In the clear air, which is clearly visible to the naked eye, you can use an astronomical telescope.We will also observe lunar craters and the planets of the solar system.

We offer an optional photo shoot with the starry sky for an additional 2,000 yen per couple (1 piece of data). The number of photos can be increased for an additional fee (2,000 yen per photo).
*If it is a full moon, you will not be able to take pictures. Moon viewing tours will be held and bright first magnitude stars can be seen.

Moreover, I was able to see the shape of the planets through the telescope with my naked eye. Seeing with your own eyes that it is not a shining dot changes the way you look at the starry sky. The starry sky was so spectacular, but there were so many stars that it was hard to know where to look. The Milky Way and countless other stars that can be observed with the naked eye. He explained many of the constellations that can be seen among them, including some episodes. The only thing I regret is that I did not master beforehand how to take beautiful pictures of the starry sky with my smartphone... I was also able to see Saturn's rings and Jupiter's stripes so beautifully through the astronomical telescope that I couldn't help but shout out. (We were really lucky, as the guide told us that it might be the most beautiful day of the year.) Unlike ocean recreation, there is no age limit, so I definitely wanted to bring my mother next time. There were also families with children participating, and I would recommend this tour to a wide range of people!
