Q. What is the difference between the two?I am not a good swimmer. Can I join the snorkeling tour even if I can't swim?

Yes, you will be fine! The most difficult part of swimming for those who are not good swimmers is "holding your breath". We will guide you to the ocean after giving you a lecture on breathing exercises and tips on how to swim in shallow water where you can stand on your feet.

In addition, since you wear a life jacket and enter the water slowly, you will feel as if you are floating on the surface of the ocean rather than swimming.

For those who cannot swim at all or are not confident in their physical strength, the tour guide will pull a large floatation ring to guide you to the point, so you can participate in the tour with peace of mind.

Q. What is the difference between the two?What should I wear on the day of the event?

You can wear a swimsuit or, if you do not like to wear a swimsuit, a dark-colored T-shirt + shorts or other comfortable clothing that you can move in even when wet. In winter, participants are required to wear a wetsuit over their swimsuit. (In the summer, only those who wish to wear a wetsuit will be asked to wear a wetsuit over their swimsuit.)

When you arrive at the meeting place on the day of the tour, please change into a swimsuit or wet clothes under your clothes as much as possible.

For guests who have difficulty changing clothes in advance, such as on the day of arrival or when out of town, please have them ready in an easily accessible place in your luggage.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is there anything I need to prepare and bring on the day of the tour?

Please bring a swimsuit (T-shirt + shorts, etc.), change of clothes (underwear, etc.), bath towel, and sandals. A change of clothes bag is useful.

In addition, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and rash guards in summer. In winter, a fleece or hoodie is more comfortable to wear on top.

Rental equipment (masks, snorkels, life jackets, shoes, and fins, etc.) for the tour is provided!

Q. What is the difference between the two?I am 7 months pregnant, can I still participate?

I do not recommend this because you are going offshore by boat and cannot be held responsible if something goes wrong.

Q. What is the difference between the two?How long does it take to get to the Yaebise point from the port of departure by boat?

It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to arrive at the port. If you are worried about seasickness, we recommend that you take an anti-sickness medicine about 30 minutes before the meeting.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Are shower facilities available? Or, do you know of any facilities where we can take a shower or bath between the break-up point and Miyakojima Airport?

There are no shower rooms as the tour will break up at the port. Water and a simple tent for changing clothes will be provided. There are no bathing facilities between the disbanding point and Miyako Airport.

Q. Can I rent a wetsuit?

Free rental is available.

Q. How many snorkel sites are there?

There are three snorkel sites.
We plan to do drone photography at two coral and fish sites and a sandy point called Ifu.

Q. Do I need to bring my own lunch?

Lunch will be served without lunch due to the tendency of passengers to get seasick.

I went snorkeling at Yaese with my kids. The sheer scale of the vast coral reef made the kids’ eyes light up, and they were completely captivated by the underwater world. The staff guided us gently while keeping safety in mind, so as a parent, I was able to watch over them with peace of mind. Very friendly and organized. Love the free photos and drone video! Maybe a bit too focused on pictures, though. Still 5 stars, but there’s room for improvement— They took us to two snorkeling spots, where we also took photos, and the third spot was just for photos since it was a shallow sandbar. A few more minutes of snorkeling—exploring the coral and fish—and fewer photos might be better.

No matter where you look, every spot is Instagram-worthy! The contrast between the crystal-clear waters and the coral reefs at Yaese is absolutely stunning, and I’m so happy with everything—from the drone footage to the underwater photos—it’s all so stylish! I really got to enjoy the “Miyako Blue” to the fullest. I highly recommend it!

The ocean at Yaese was seriously too beautiful, lol. The video someone shot with a drone looks just like a movie—it really gets me hyped! The only thing is, the sun was brutal, so if I’d had time to reapply my sunscreen, it would’ve been perfect.

A package deal combining snorkeling and drone photography at Yaese. The coral reef was as beautiful as I’d imagined, and I really enjoyed it. However, there were quite a few participants, so it felt a bit cramped on the boat, and we had to wait our turn for the drone photos. I think the experience was worth the price.

First, we took a boat to a spot in Yaeyama Gama, where the vast ocean and the sea breeze felt incredibly refreshing. As soon as we arrived, we started snorkeling and were completely captivated by the crystal-clear world of the coral reef that stretched as far as the eye could see. They even took some drone footage for us, making it a truly fulfilling and wonderful experience.

My husband and I took part in this tour together. My husband was a little hesitant about the ocean and had some concerns, but thanks to the staff’s thoughtful support, he said he’s really glad we participated. Also, all the snorkeling spots were absolutely wonderful—we were in awe the whole time. We definitely want to join this tour again the next time we visit Miyako Island.

A half-day snorkeling tour in Yaese. The water was as clear as I’d hoped. The free drone footage and photo data were a nice bonus. However, the group felt a bit large, so it would have been even better with fewer participants. The experience was worth the price.

The coral reef at Yabiji was seriously so beautiful it was almost unreal lol. The water was so clear you could see the bottom even from the boat, and when I dove in, there were swarms of fish in colors I’d never seen before—it was amazing! The drone footage you get for free looks like a scene from a movie—it’s so cool! If you’re going to Miyako Island, you absolutely have to dive here!

It had been a while since I’d gone snorkeling, so I was really worried about whether I’d be able to swim properly, but thanks to the guide who kept encouraging me, my fears vanished right away. The coral reefs stretching as far as the eye can see and the colorful fish—it was truly a paradise on earth…! And above all, the sheer scale of the drone footage they shot for us for free was so incredible it gave me goosebumps. The footage of us floating all alone in the middle of the Miyako Blue will be a treasure I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

Thank you very much for the tour guide! I have been on several other tours and this was the best led staff and I was able to enjoy the tour in a safe and secure environment. There was also a staff member who did not dive into the sea but stayed on the boat, which made us feel safe and secure. Even the children are well followed by the staff. I think this tour is safe for families. We received a lot of photos and drone footage. Beautiful snorkeling views, visible at some points just 2 ft deep. The boat ride was fast and smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, even for us as The included underwater photos and drone shots were a nice addition and they shared them shortly after we finished the tour. Although the low tide conditions were not conducive to seeing the reef above the water line as I'd hoped, we had an amazing experience anyway. Highly recommend for any sea life lovers to experience Yabiji!

It was my first time snorkeling and I felt safe and comfortable. The staff member, Kana, immediately remembered the names and faces of all the participants. She checked on everyone the whole time we were swimming in the ocean, including making sure we weren't being swept away by the waves.
