Facility Overview
Guest House Shimanchu is a homelike accommodation run by the owner, who is from Miyako Island. It is about a 12-13 minute drive from the airport and a 5 minute drive to the city center. Although it is called a minshuku, it is a hotel-style inn with private rooms. All rooms are equipped with bathrooms and toilets. There are two types of rooms: Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms. The beds are spacious and comfortable, and the rooms are clean and relaxing. There is a living room called "YUNTAKU ROOM" as a shared space, and you can freely use the kitchen. A convenience store is a 3-minute walk away, so you can get some food and have a meal using the kitchen. The inn is built on a hill, so you can look over the town of Hirara and Irabu Island. Located on the west side of the island, the sunset is also outstandingly beautiful, making the inn convenient for one person, couples, or friends.
