Facility Overview

Guesthouse ATAKAYA is a fully private accommodation located in Hirara, Miyakojima City. A characteristic of Aratakaya is that it has "Dr. Karakara's Diving School Miyakojima" on the first floor. That is why we have a large number of diver guests. The course called "Exciting Experience Diving & Snorkeling on the Manekineko" is popular. You can experience the sea of Miyakojima with one instructor guiding you every day, with one staff member for a maximum of two guests. The guesthouse has a total of 9 rooms, both Japanese-style and Western-style. All rooms have a balcony, and rooms on the west side have a view of Irabu Island and the Irabu Bridge. There is an astronomical telescope on the rooftop, so you can observe the stars and the moon, which is a nice service. It takes about 10 minutes by car from the airport to the guesthouse. It is conveniently located.
