Boat-Based Fun Dives for BeginnersMiyako Island is an area known for its dynamic, undulating terrain—so much so that diving there is often referred to as “topographic diving.”
Irabu Island, Shimoji Island, and the southern coast of Miyako Island are dotted with unique dive sites such as caves, drop-offs, crevices, and holes, and the deep blue water visible through these openings offers a breathtaking view.
These are small-group tours led by guides specializing in underwater topography, designed so that everyone—from beginner recreational divers to those returning to diving after a long hiatus—can enjoy the experience with confidence.

Three dives a day!
We took our time enjoying the scenery, with a lunch break on boardThe boat diving trip includes three dives per day. Instead of returning to the harbor after each dive, you’ll enjoy a break on board and lunch in the calm waters near the dive sites. The schedule is relaxed, with departure around 8:30 a.m. and return around 3:00 p.m.
