Facility Overview
Island Inn Upura Usagi is a small inn located near Sunayama Beach on Miyako Island. The mysterious name "Upura Usagi" means "bright star of dawn" in an old island folk tale. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, thanks to the owner's attention to size: the rooms on the first floor are about 27 square meters and are bright and open, while the rooms on the second floor are about 40 square meters and even have a balcony. Cute cats greet you at the entrance of the inn. Cat lovers will love them. It is about a 20-minute drive from Miyakojima Airport and only a 10-minute drive to downtown Miyakojima. Sunayama Beach, so beautiful that it was used in an Okinawa poster, is about 700 meters from the inn, making it a perfect location.
