Facility Overview
Guest house MARUYOSHI is located almost in the center of Irabu Island, northwest of Miyako Island. It is about 25 minutes from Miyako Airport across the Irabu Bridge. The Irabu Post Office is the landmark. The guest house is surrounded by the very beautiful sea of Irabu Island and there are many diving spots. The Maruyoshi Restaurant attached to the guest house is well-loved by the locals and boasts dishes using local ingredients. The restaurant is so good that it was selected as one of the 100 best restaurants in Kyushu and Okinawa for its tabe-aruki taste. The jumbo cutlet curry is popular. In the evening, you can also enjoy the izakaya (Japanese-style pub) menu. Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms are available for one person or a family. This is a homey inn where you can blend in with the simple life of the islanders and experience the flow of time unique to a remote island, which cannot be experienced on the main island of Miyakojima.
